Reader says Trump campaign is distracting voters

Trump and the GOP are running on a campaign of “law and order.” They claim that if Biden is elected, violence will break out in your community while at the same time they show videos of current marches as an illustration. What they fail to admit is that the violence they depict is happening right now on their watch. What’s more, this strategy is being used to distract the voting public from the total failure of this administration to protect us from COVID-19 (over 193,000 deaths) and the effect it has had on our economy, communities, and families.
