Residents to stand in solidarity

A march for area residents to stand in solidarity against the recent deaths of George Floyd in Minneapolis and Breonna Taylor in Louisville at the hands of law enforcement officers is scheduled for Tuesday (tonight) at 6 p.m. at the Second Street side of Constitution Square Park. Protesters are asked to bring signs and line up and down Second Street. They are also asked to wear face masks and practice social distancing to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.

 

Commodity distribution

The Boyle County Senior Commodity Distribution will be held this Thursday, June 4 as scheduled at Danville First Church of God. Due to the current pandemic, clients will be able to stay in their vehicle and the box of food will be loaded for them. We will have assistance from the local Civil Air Patrol this month.
